OUR APPROACH

We use a child-centered, play-based approach that engages children in hands-on learning.

Child Thoughtfully Considers Paint Colors

Creativity is an integral part of child development.

Creativity is a key tool in our classrooms.

Giving students opportunities to be creative allows them to practice important skills like trying new ideas, expressing themselves, and making decisions.

Creative expression requires focus and imagination, which teaches children to develop self regulation skills, problem solving skills, and flexibility.

Our Curriculum And Assessment Periods

We use the Creative Curriculum, a play-based, child-centered curriculum for preschool aged children.

With teacher guidance, our students work together to pick an area of study for a 6-week period. Within those studies, the children learn the literacy, math, science, and social skills they'll need for kindergarten.

In alignment with the PA state PreK Learning Standards.
In collaboration with the School District of Philadelphia.

We offer three assessment periods each school year. Combined, these standards allow us to deliver high quality care and adequately prepare our students for kindergarten.

In collaboration and partnership with

The School District of Philadelphia
